Ill now download a live ubuntu to check my hardware. So i downloaded the latest manjaro live image and either manjaro broke my hardware completely or the latest image has the same problem … EDIT3: Looks like deleting everything in the NetworkManager config folder (+ ofc restarts) solved the porblem. Maybe the so called ‘Networkmanager’ really is the problem EDIT2: Fedora37 live saw my pcie network devices so i guess hardware is ok. EDIT1: sorry if i am a little heated but i saved a very long time for this not even a month old setup.Īnd chose Manjaro cause it got advertised as stable distro.

PS: i am no Developer i am just a normal User (and no i wont install Windows again ) Otherwise this “Stable update” might have cost me my job. Luckly i have a friends Laptop today (which is where i am writing from) and my boss is not having any huge tasks today. To not have those M$ Windows problems i switched to Manajro stable … I have no way of connecting the Desktop to Internet anymore and its dead now.

Used another USB-C Adapter and found that a recent manrajro update mentioned NetworkManager( forum.manjaro org/t/stable-update-kernels-gnome-networkmanager-kde-frameworks-firefox/134573 )īut that update is marked as stable so i think it cant break a system like that ?Īnyways so i got on and found arch wiki telling me to go sudo lspci -vĪnd what can i tell… no network devices where listed.Īfter another restart even my USB C Adapter is now gone.

Restarted again now the USB Adapter did not work anymore. Tried a restart now my Wlan device was also missing.Īdded a USB-Ethernet adapter and googled a bit without results. I connect Wlan searched for updates (non where found). Starting the desktop and my Ethernet was missing. Shut it down to get lunch and got back after. Today i started my desktop as usual everything worked fine.
